Fred gained his early experience in claims adjusting in the province of Nova Scotia. Fred is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada and has specialized training and experience in the investigation and assessment of Aquaculture losses. He is a Past President of the Canadian Independent Adjusters' Association (CIAA) having served as National President 2007- 2008. He previously represented that organization as a Regional President for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island and currently chairs the Education Committee for the NB/PEI Region of CIAA. He is a member of and serves as a Director of the Insurance Institute of New Brunswick. In November 2011 he was elected President of The International Institute of Loss Adjusters, having participated on the Executive of that organization for 8 years in the capacity of Treasurer, a position he still holds. He has served on a number of Industry committees including those serving IBC and The Canadian Risk Managers Association Fred’s areas of loss adjusting expertise are Liability, Bonds, Professional Errors & Omissions and Aquaculture. An avid squash player, Fred also enjoys most outdoor activities, particularly hockey, tennis, golf and skiing with his family. |
