John Aucoin

John began his adjusting career in 1971 in Montreal as a staff adjuster. In 1974 he relocated to Campbellton, N.B., where he has stayed and worked primarily as an independent adjuster.

He completed the Fellowship Program with the Insurance Institute of Canada in 1990 and received distinction as Top Fellow in his Province and at the same time earned a Diploma in Administration through L'Université du Québec.

John has developed skills in dealing with claim in all lines with particular expertise in direct damage, liability, transport, crime and environmental losses. Being fully licenced in the Provinces of New Brunswick and Québec permits John to offer service in northern NB and the Gaspé Peninsula of Québec.

John has served in several volunteer insurance industry roles including a period as President of the North Shore Chapter of the Insurance Institute of New Brunswick. He is currently President of the newly established Chapitre du Parkinson de la Région Restigouche Parkinson Chapter; the first such bilingual group in the Maritimes. His leisure enjoyments include time with his family (including fast growing grandchildren), cottage life and alpine skiing.
