Mike W. Turner, CIP

Mike is a graduate of the Insurance Program at Mohawk College and began his Insurance career in 1987. With extensive claims experience at both the Independent and Staff levels, Mike was recently employed with a major Canadian Insurer as Property Specialist for the Atlantic Region with a focus on staff development and client services and served as a CGL trainer for Sales, Underwriting and Claims staff.

With the completion of his CIP in 1994, Mike subsequently taught Institute Courses including Property and Claims. In addition to his formal Institute training he has also attended many Industry related courses. Mike’s claim specialties include Bodily Injury, Casualty and large Property Losses.

In his time away from the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his son and several outdoor activities such as hockey, camping, downhill skiing and antique automobiles. He is a volunteer hockey coach, participates in many fund raising events and is an active member of the Insurance Institute of New Brunswick.
