Fred gained his early experience in claims adjusting in the province of Nova Scotia. Fred is an Associate of the Insurance Institute of Canada and has specialized training and experience in the investigation and assessment of Aquaculture losses.

He is a past National President of the Canadian Independent Adjusters' Association (CIAA) having served as National President 2007- 2008. He previously represented that organization as a Regional President for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. He is a member of the Insurance Institute of New Brunswick, sits on the Executive of the International Institute of Loss Adjusters in the dual capacities of Treasurer & Second Vice President and has served on a number of Industry committees including those serving IBC and The Canadian Risk Managers Association.

Fred’s areas of loss adjusting expertise are Liability, Bonds, Professional Errors & Omissions and Aquaculture.

An avid squash player, Fred also enjoys most outdoor activities, particularly hockey, golf and skiing with his family.
